Dash Cam Done Right: How We Fixed Paul’s Unsafe Installation

Paul reached out to us with a troubling issue—his dash cam in his 2009 Honda Pilot kept turning on and off randomly. Our technician arrived for an assessment and quickly discovered the problem: the previous installation was not only faulty but dangerously unsafe. The hardwire kit was improperly connected, and worse, the wiring was routed directly in front of the airbags, which could have prevented them from deploying in a crash.
